Denton, Watumull, MD, FACS, earned his undergraduate degree from Claremont McKenna College in Claremont, California before completing a medical degree at the John A. Burns School of Medicine, University of Hawaii at Manoa, where he was invited to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. He completed a general and trauma surgery residency, plastic surgery residency and advanced hand and microvascular surgery training at Parkland Hospital in Dallas, where he was acknowledged for excellence in teaching. After his training, Dr. Watumull served as Chief of Staff at Garland Community Hospital and as Chief of Surgery at Baylor Garland Hospital. He has been included in Texas “Top Docs” lists multiple times. In addition, Dr. Wutumull has won numerous local and national awards for his research projects. Currently, Dr. Watumull is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society for Surgery of the Hand.
