J. Peter Rubin, MD, received his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine and served his residency at Harvard University Medical School. He is an Associate Professor of Plastic Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He specializes in body contouring procedures and is the founder of Life After Weight Loss Program at UPMC. Dr. Rubin is a former president of the International Fat Applied Technology Society (IFATS) and he also serves on the American Society of Plastic Surgery’s Bariatric Task Force. He has authored numerous articles on body contouring procedures following bariatric surgery. Dr. Rubin is a recipient of the Presidential Early Career Award honoring young scientists and engineers.
