Paul M. Gardner, MD, FACS, earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville, Florida, where he also completed his general surgery residency. Dr. Gardner received advanced fellowship training in plastic surgery at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. In addition, he has trained under the guidance of Dr. Luis Vasconez — a world renowned authority in the field of plastic surgery. A former Associate Professor of Plastic Surgery at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Dr. Gardner has participated in the training of numerous up-and-coming plastic surgeons. His experience and surgical record have allowed him to earn memberships with several prestigious professional organizations, including the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American College of Surgeons and the Southeastern Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons.
