Randy T. Jackson, MD, earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia. Dr. Jackson completed his internship at Broadlawns Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa, and his ophthalmology residency at the University of Kansas. He has also received advanced fellowship training in corneal and LASIK surgery under the leadership of Dr. John Doane — Discover Vision’s chief LASIK surgeon and a recognized authority in the field of laser vision correction surgery. Dr. Jackson has co-authored multiple book chapters on refractive surgery, and he regularly lectures at prominent ophthalmology meetings. A board-certified ophthalmologist, he is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the International Society of Refractive Surgery. Dr. Jackson treats patients at the North Kansas City and Kansas City, KS locations.
