Dr. Kenneth R. Smith, MD, FACS

Kenneth R. Smith, MD, FACS, is an honors graduate of the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He completed an internship and residency in general surgery, and he also served a residency in ophthalmology at the University of Louisville. Dr. Smith was named the Chief Resident during his final year of residency. He currently serves as an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Louisville Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences. He is also an active member of many prestigious professional organizations, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American College of Surgeons, the International Society of Refractive Surgery, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, the Kentucky Academy of Eye Physicians and Surgeons and the Louisville Academy of Ophthalmology.
