Dr. Ricardo Sepulveda, MD
About
Ricardo Sepulveda, MD, received his medical degree from the University of Monterrey Medical School. He completed fellowship training programs at the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, the University of Texas Medical School at Houston Ophthalmology Department and the University of Houston School of Optometry. Dr. Sepulveda also did a general surgery internship at the Cleveland Clinic and a residency at St. Vincent’s Catholic Medical Centers, New York Medical College, where he was named Chief Resident. He was accepted into an advanced fellowship training program in external diseases, cornea and refractive surgery at the Cole Eye Institute and the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. Dr. Sepulveda has authored numerous peer-reviewed journal articles on eye and liver diseases and was a participant in clinical trials and research on macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and virology.
Dr. Sepulveda has presented at meetings of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and the Sociedad Mexicana de Oftalmología.
