Dr. Brock Magruder, Jr., MD

G. Brock Magruder, Jr., MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist who has been honored as one of the top LASIK surgeons in the country. He has performed more than 20,000 LASIK procedures during his prolific career spanning more than 20 years. Dr. Magruder is widely recognized as a skilled and compassionate Orlando eye surgeon. He is experienced in several laser-guided vision correction systems and has served as an investigator during the latest FDA trials of CustomCornea, a new LASIK technology. In addition, he initiated an ongoing eye mission program to provide eye care to underprivileged patients in the Dominican Republic and various other underdeveloped countries.

G. Brock Magruder, Jr., MD, received his undergraduate degree in Chemistry from Emory University and his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine. He served his medical internship as well as his ophthalmology residency at Emory, where he was involved in numerous clinical research projects. He is affiliated with the Lakeside Surgery Center and the Orlando Regional Health Care Center. Dr. Magruder is a proud member of many professional organizations, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, the International Society of Refractive Surgery, the Keratomileusis Study Group, the American Medical Association, the American College of Eye Surgeons, the Florida Medical Association and the Orange County Medical Society.
