Burr von Maur, MD, FACS, is a board-certified plastic surgeon who strives to enhance his patients’ natural beauty. For more than 20 years, Dr. von Maur has been providing his patients with comprehensive reconstructive and cosmetic surgery solutions. His surgical expertise and devotion to excellence in patient care help him to provide beautiful, natural-looking results.

Dr. von Maur believes that plastic surgery requires a careful blending of art and surgical skill. His goal is to help his patients obtain beautiful cosmetic results while providing an excellent overall treatment experience. He is fully committed to the wellbeing of his patients and is determined to understand their cares and concerns before recommending the best course of treatment. Advanced computer imaging is incorporated during patient consultation to display potential results before committing to any one treatment option.

Dr. von Maur specializes in facial rejuvenation procedures, including short-scar facelifts, rhinoplasty and eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty). In addition, he performs a variety of cosmetic surgeries for the breasts and body such as breast augmentation, liposuction, tummy tuck and lower body lifts after major weight loss. Dr. von Maur and his staff also offer a wide range of non-surgical skin treatments such as laser skin rejuvenation, Fraxel laser treatments and facial peels.

Burr von Maur, MD, FACS, earned his Doctor of Medicine degree and completed his general surgery internship at the University of Iowa. Dr. von Maur completed his surgical residency at the University of Missouri and specialty cosmetic surgery training at New York University. He is affiliated with several leading medical organizations, including the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the California Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Orange County Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons (Fellow).
