Dr. David Yomtoob, MD

David Yomtoob, MD, MBA, earned his Bachelor’s degree, Summa Cum Laude, in biology from the University of Texas at Arlington. He received his dual MD/MBA of Health Management degree from Texas Tech University School of Medicine, after which he did his ophthalmology residency at the University of Minnesota Medical School. Dr. Yomtoob then completed a fellowship in glaucoma at the University of California, Irvine, where he had the privilege of working with some of the country’s leading glaucoma specialists. He was the only ophthalmologist to win the Gold Foundation Humanism and Excellence in Teaching Award in 2008. Dr. Yomtoob is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Minnesota Academy of Ophthalmology and the Gold Humanism Honor Society. He is fluent in Farsi and medical Spanish.
