Gary R. Tylock, MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist (American Academy of Ophthalmology) with more than 20 years’ experience. A pioneer in refractive surgery who has performed more than 75,000 refractive surgery procedures and is the “Official LASIK Surgeon” for several sports teams. He has been selected by his peers numerous times as a “Best LASIK Surgeon / Ophthalmologist in Dallas” in D Magazine‘s independent polls.

More About Gary R. Tylock, MD

Gary R. Tylock, MD, obtained his medical degree at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. After graduation, he continued at Southwestern Medical Center as a Clinical Professor for 20 years teaching surgical techniques to other medical doctors specializing in ophthalmology. Dr. Tylock served as Chief of Staff at Pioneer Park Medical Center. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and a member of the International Society of Refractive Surgery, as well as the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
