Jacob Gerzenshtein, MD, is a fellowship-trained plastic surgeon who is board certified by both the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. Jacob Gerzenshtein, MD, received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Loyola University’s Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. He completed his general surgery residency at the Metropolitan Group Hospitals in Chicago, and served his plastic surgery residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, where he also completed specialized craniofacial fellowship training. Dr. Gerzenshtein is a published author whose articles have appeared in several highly regarded medical trade journals. He is also an active member of many renowned professional associations, including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the American Medical Association, the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons, the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons, the Wisconsin Medical Society, the Wisconsin Surgical Society and the Chicago Medical Society.
