John K. Wakelin, M.D., F.A.C.S., obtained his medical degree at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He completed his general surgery training at Mount Carmel Medical Center and his plastic surgery residency at The Ohio State University Medical Center. Dr. Wakelin has been voted one of the best plastic surgeons in Columbus by the “Docs Rate Docs” survey and one of “America’s Top Plastic Surgeons” by the Consumer’s Choice Research Council of America. He currently serves as Chief of Plastic Surgery at Riverside Methodist Hospital and is part of the Clinical Faculty at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. Dr. Wakelin frequently participates in medical missions throughout the world and has served in Honduras, Nicaragua, Paraguay, Peru, Egypt and China. He is a proud member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons.
