Dr. Joshua Korman, MD

Josh Korman, MD, FACS, is a board-certified plastic surgeon who has completed advanced cosmetic surgery fellowship training and serves as a faculty member at the esteemed Stanford University. Dr. Korman has garnered national attention for his outstanding body reshaping and body lift surgical skills, and application of advanced laser technologies. His work and expertise have been featured on 20/20, CNN, The New York Times, The San Jose Mercury News, Gentry Magazine and The Metro, and he has been listed as one of San Jose Magazine‘s “Top Docs” several times. An accomplished musician and playwright, Dr. Korman brings his unique artist perspective to his work, consistently delivering naturally balanced results that exceed patient expectations.

Dr. Korman is the Founder and Head Surgeon of The Korman Group, a premier cosmetic and reconstructive surgery center offering Californians the latest aesthetic treatments in a safe, private and comfortable environment. Dr. Korman and his highly experienced team of professionals perform all procedures using state-of-the-art technologies designed to improve results and minimize scarring and recovery time. Many of the procedures offered at The Korman Group are performed on an outpatient basis, allowing patients to return home shortly after treatment completion. Josh Korman, MD, FACS, received his undergraduate degree and MD from Cornell University, graduating Alpha Omega Alpha. Following medical school, Dr. Korman traveled to Stanford University to complete his plastic surgery residencies. He received specialty training as a Registrar in Plastic Surgery at Canniesburn Hospital in Glasgow, Scotland, and completed a cosmetic surgery fellowship in Miami. Dr. Korman remains involved in continuing education programs in order to stay abreast of the newest treatment modalities and therapies. In addition to being in private practice since 1991, Dr. Korman has been a member of the adjunct clinical faculty of Stanford University for more than 15 years. He also works as a volunteer physician in developing countries and donates time to the Community Breast Health Project in Palo Alto.

Dr. Korman is a member of several professional medical societies, including the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the California Society of Plastic Surgeons and the California Medical Association.
