Dr. Kenneth A. Ingber, DMD

Kenneth A. Ingber, DMD, FAGD, is an experienced Washington DC cosmetic dentist who has been performing full mouth restorations for more than 35 years. He was one of the first dentists in the United States to master the techniques of osseointegrated implant therapy and was recruited by one of the world’s leading dental implant manufacturers to train cosmetic dentists on dental implant procedures nationwide. Dr. Ingber is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry and was a Course Instructor for Straumann Training and Technology Mini-residencies (STAT). As a testament to his cosmetic dentistry skills, prominent leaders in several fields have called upon Dr. Ingber for his services, including a Hollywood film director who asked him to create cosmetic effects for an Oscar-winning actor. In addition, Dr. Ingber has been listed in “Top Rated Dentists” by Washington Consumers’ Checkbook magazine.

Dr. Ingber’s office offers a wide range of cosmetic dentistry procedures, including dental implants, porcelain veneers, teeth whitening, Invisalign teeth aligners, complete smile makeovers, full mouth restoration and natural-looking bridges, crowns and dentures. His office also offers a number of general dentistry procedures and other dental treatments, including root-canals, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) therapy, periodontics, and sleep apnea and snoring therapy. Dr. Ingber also works with geriatric patients, which involves advising the elderly on prevention and providing them with treatment of dental problems that come with age.

Dr. Ingber utilizes the latest technologies and techniques, including digital X-rays and air abrasion, an advanced method for removing tooth decay without the use of a drill. To produce ideal cosmetic results, he often utilizes a number of specialists experienced in cosmetic dentistry, including periodontists and maxillofacial surgeons. Kenneth A. Ingber, DMD, FAGD, completed his Bachelor of Science degree at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York. He then attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, where he later taught for more than 20 years. Dr. Ingber is also a former Director of the Penn Extramural Department of Continuing Dental Education Program for the Metropolitan Washington, D.C., area. He is a former Editor of the Journal of the District Columbia Dental Society and a current member of the Academy of Osseointegration and the American Academy of Orofacial Pain.
