Kenneth Bermudez, MD, FACS, is a highly skilled plastic surgeon who has achieved Fellow status with the American College of Surgeons and is certified by both the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery. As a leader in the field of plastic surgery, Dr. Bermudez has won several medical research competitions held by the American College of Surgeons and the National Medical Foundation. In addition, he has been honored numerous times as one of “America’s Top Surgeons, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery” by the Consumers’ Research Council of America.

Dr. Bermudez offers several cosmetic procedures for the face, body and breast, including rhinoplasty, facelift, liposuction, tummy tuck and breast augmentation. Breast augmentation and reconstruction are two of Dr. Bermudez’s plastic surgery specialties. Breast enlargement surgery, known technically as augmentation mammoplasty, is a way of providing patients with larger breasts that are more proportionate to their body frames. During the procedure, Dr. Bermudez inserts saline or silicone breast implants behind breast tissue or under chest muscles to enhance the size and shape of the bustline. Breast augmentation, or enlargement with implants, can help patients achieve fuller breasts, as well as firmer, perkier bustlines. Dr. Bermudez also has expertise in breast reconstruction. Kenneth Bermudez, MD, FACS, completed a medical degree at the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine. Continuing his education at UCSF, he completed general surgery and plastic and reconstructive surgery residencies with the university’s department of surgery. Dr. Bermudez is a member of several renowned medical organizations, including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the California Society of Plastic Surgeons, the San Francisco Medical Society, the Nafziger Surgical Society and the California Pacific Medical Center. In addition, he serves on the governing council for the UCSF Medical Alumni Association.
