Marianna Kovitch, DMD, received her bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Georgia State University in 2006. She graduated with honors in research for her published biochemistry research thesis, “SiaA, A Heme Protein.” Dr. Kovitch earned her dental degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta in 2011. Dr. Kovitch’s interest in dentistry began at a young age, soon after she began wearing braces and had several dental surgeries herself. In high school, Dr. Kovitch worked closely with two local dentists in Roswell, which allowed her to gain invaluable dental training and experience. Throughout her undergraduate career, Dr. Kovitch was privileged enough to have Dr. Laura Braswell, a periodontist, as a mentor and friend. Dr. Kovitch is an active board member on the Georgia Academy of General Dentistry and is co-director of a dental continuing education Atlanta chapter. She holds a fellowship in the international Congress of Oral Implantology and is a member of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine. Throughout her career, Dr. Kovitch has used her training and experience in cosmetic and implant dentistry to work with countless patients in several different clinics in Atlanta and neighboring towns.
