Dr. Michael J. Collins, MD

Michael J. Collins, MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. In addition, he has completed advanced fellowship training in cornea and refractive surgery, a unique accomplishment that requires an extra year of education and provides a high level of expertise. He specializes in state-of-the-art corneal, cataract and refractive surgery. Dr. Collins is recognized by his peers as a leader in ophthalmic surgery and has received awards and recognition for his work in the field of vision correction, including being named one of “America’s Top Ophthalmologists” multiple times by the Consumers’ Research Council of America. Dr. Collins is also a highly coveted speaker who lectures at national and international conferences, including the annual meeting of the American Academy of Ophthalmology where he teaches ophthalmology professionals the latest technologies and techniques.
