Dr. Michael J. Collins, MD

Michael J. Collins, MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Collins completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville and his medical degree at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. He then completed his residency in ophthalmology at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta. After residency, Dr. Collins performed advanced fellowship training in cornea and refractive surgery at the world-renowned Hunkeler Eye Centers in Kansas City. He is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, the American Medical Association and the Collier and Lee County Medical Societies.
