Dr. Patricia Yugueros joined Artisan Plastic Surgery in April of 2007. She earned her medical degree in Cali, Colombia. She then completed her General Surgery residency as well as her Plastic and Reconstructive surgery training at the prestigious Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Yugueros was then offered a Fellowship in Hand and Microvascular surgery at Mayo Clinic, a position given almost exclusively to Orthopedic surgeons. Dr. Yugueros enjoys the full spectrum of aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgery, including breasts, body and facial rejuvenation. She has a special interest in aesthetic surgery of the hand, being one of the few surgeons in the country to perform this type of procedure. Dr. Yugueros is married to Dr. Juan Sarmiento, a hepatobiliary surgeon with a teaching appointment at the Department of Surgery of Emory University. They have two lovely daughters.

She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and is member of many local and national scientific societies, including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.

Dr. Yugueros has presented her academic work in several national and international venues and has contributed to many journal articles and book chapters in the field of plastic surgery as well as hand and microvascular reconstructive surgery. Dr Yugueros has also been the recipient of prestigious awards by the American College of Surgeons and the Plastic Surgery Educational Foundation.

Dr. Yugueros enjoys the full spectrum of aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgery, including breasts, body and facial rejuvenation. She has a special interest in aesthetic surgery of the hand and is one of the few physicians in this country who performs this procedure.
