Dr. Paul Chasan, MD

Paul E. Chasan, MD, FACS, is a board-certified plastic and general surgeon who specializes in cosmetic surgery. Dr. Chasan has built a reputation as San Diego County’s finest plastic surgeon due to his extensive experience with developing and publishing on a variety of plastic surgery procedures He has appeared on various national television networks and programs, including E! Entertainment Television, Extra and the Discovery Channel. Patients from around the world travel to visit Dr. Chasan due to his expertise in cosmetic surgery and reputation for being the surgeon dedicated to his belief in ‘attention to detail’.

Dr. Chasan offers a wide variety of cosmetic surgery procedures at his first class offices and surgical center in La Jolla, including: face lift, Petit face lift, neck lift, the GQ neck lift, rhinoplasty(nose reshaping), breast augmentation (enlargement),revisionary breast surgery, breast lift, tummy tuck, liposuction, laser treatments and many other procedures. His surgical suite is equipped with the latest surgical technologies and is accredited by the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities. Paul E. Chasan, MD, FACS, earned his undergraduate degree at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He is a graduate of Creighton University School of Medicine in Nebraska where he received several of the highest academic awards, including Alpha Omega Alpha and Magna Cum Laude honors. Dr. Chasan completed a residency in general surgery at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) and a residency in plastic surgery at the University of Utah Medical Center in Salt Lake City. He is currently an assistant clinical professor for the Department of Surgery at UCSD and serves on the credential committee at Scripps Memorial Hospital.

Dr. Chasan has authored articles for a variety of peer-reviewed medical journals on an array of cosmetic and general surgery topics and procedures. He is a member of numerous professional societies, including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the American College of Surgeons, the American Medical Association and other prominent organizations.
