Paul M. Glat, MD, FACS, is a highly educated aesthetic and cosmetic surgeon who is board certified by both the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Schooled in all facets of plastic surgery, Dr. Glat specializes in aesthetic surgery of the face, breasts and body.
Dr. Glat has been voted a Top Doc by Philadelphia Magazine five times since 2001 and has been featured as one of the Best Plastic Surgeons on the Main Line by Main Line Today Magazine. His expertise is such that he has been invited to present at numerous national and international meetings, has been published extensively on a wide variety of techniques in plastic surgery literature, and has been interviewed by ABC News.
Dr. Glat’s cosmetic surgery practice was founded on two important principles: respect for the patient and a commitment to excellence. His state-of-the-art treatment center provides an unparalleled level of personalized care from the point of initial consultation on through post-treatment follow ups. Dr. Glat and his team of professionals perform the latest aesthetic therapies to yield the most natural of results. Patients may select from aesthetic breast surgeries, aesthetic surgeries of the face, and a variety of body contouring procedures. He performs breast augmentation with saline or silicone breast implants, as well as breast lift and breast reduction. Non-surgical treatments, including Botox, laser hair removal, Restylane, Juvederm, Radiance and Perlane, are also offered. Dr. Glat has a permanent makeup aesthetician on staff in addition to a part time aesthetician offering various skincare lines.
Paul M. Glat, MD, FACS, graduated Cum Laude from Princeton University before earning his medical degree as class president at New York University. Following medical school, Dr. Glat remained at NYU to complete general and plastic surgery training, the latter of which was performed at the Institute of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, one of the world’s foremost training programs. He continued his training with completion of a plastic surgery fellowship at NYU and Manhattan Eye and Ear hospital (where he trained under some of the most prominent plastic surgeons in the world), and culminated his formal education with a fellowship in craniofacial surgery at Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia and the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
Having received so much by way of education, Dr. Glat has donated much of his time to the training and education of tomorrow’s surgeons. While in Philadelphia, Dr. Glat became a member of the full-time faculty at Drexel University where he served as an assistant professor of surgery and headed the Division of Plastic Surgery at St. Christophers Hospital for Children. He has since added to his professorial workload by becoming the Director of the Cleft Palate and Craniofacial programs and the Burn Unit at St. Christophers.
Dr. Glat is affiliated with a number of professional medical societies, some of which include: The American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the American Board of Plastic Surgery, the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, the American College of Surgeons (Fellow), the Northeastern Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, the American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association, and the Robert H. Ivy Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons.
