Robert G. Szulborski, MD, PhD, earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in physics from Amherst College in Massachusetts. Dr. Szulborski completed both his Doctor of Medicine and Doctor of Philosophy degrees at the University of Pennsylvania, where he also received a National Institute of Health Medical Scientist Training Program Fellowship. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the Washington University Medical Center in St. Louis, Missouri, and his glaucoma fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania’s Scheie Eye Institute. Currently, Dr. Szulborski is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
