Robert T. Heck, M.D., F.A.C.S., earned his medical degree at the Medical College of Ohio, where he also completed his four-year surgical residency. In recognition of his academic excellence, Dr. Heck was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society and is a recipient of numerous other awards, including the Golden Apple Resident Award. Dr. Heck continued his extensive medical training with a two-year plastic surgery residency at the Medical University of South Carolina and an Aesthetic and Breast Fellowship in Los Angeles, where he studied under the mentorship of renowned surgeon Dr. W. Grant Stevens. Over the course of his prolific career, Dr. Heck has authored many scientific articles on topics pertaining to breast surgery and has been awarded the prestigious Prism Award for his excellence in breast surgery procedures. He was named one of America’s top plastic surgeons by The Strathmore Group. Dr. Heck devotes much of his time to the treatment and cure of breast cancer. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a member of many professional associations, including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons.
