Steven I. Rosenfeld, MD, FACS, earned his undergraduate degree at Johns Hopkins University and completed his medical degree at Yale Medical School. He did a medical internship at Yale-New Haven Hospital and completed an ophthalmology residency at Washington University School of Medicine. Dr. Rosenfeld also completed a fellowship in cornea and external diseases at the prestigious Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. He has contributed many chapters to books on a range of topics in ophthalmology, as well as scientific articles on topics pertaining to cataract and LASIK surgery. Dr. Rosenfeld is a recipient of the Physicians Recognition Award, an honor awarded by the American Medical Association to a very select group of physicians.

Dr. Rosenfeld is a member of many professional organization, including the International Society of Refractive Surgery, the Cornea Society, the Paton Society, the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology, the Ocular Microbiology and Immunology Group, the Eye Bank Association of America, the Society of Heed Fellows, the Palm Beach County Medical Society, the Florida Society of Ophthalmology, the Palm Beach County Ophthalmology Society and the Florida Medical Association. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American College of Surgeons.
